Virgin Music president Richard Branson flew to Moscow on Sunday to seek markets for Western pop stars and to find Soviet musicians who could be introduced to the West. The British tycoon is planning to spend four days in the Soviet Union discussing the exchange of pop and classical music. “I think they will probably want to see the books balanced,” he said of his expectations. “If we release something there, they will want to see something released here.”
