Lotus Development Corp. reported record revenue and net income for the year and fourth quarter For 1987, Lotus had net income of $72 million, a 49% increase over 1986 net income, while revenue totaled $395.6 million, a 40% increase over 1986. Jim P. Manzi, Lotus’ president and chief executive, attributed the improvement to a third consecutive quarter of record 1-2-3 software sales, record Symphony software sales, and record sales of Freelance Plus.
