North Korea Severs Contacts With U.S.

TOKYO —
North Korea, angered by being placed on Washington’s official list of terrorist nations, retaliated Monday by severing contacts with U.S. diplomats.
The official North Korean Central News Agency, monitored in Tokyo, said Pyongyang will also withhold the remains of U.S. servicemen missing in action from the Korean War. The U.S. Defense Department said that involves about 8,200 servicemen.
