What’s there to say in a week when NBC’s Thursday-night comedies take the top four slots in the A. C. Nielsen Co.’s ratings and “60 Minutes” is No. 5? It was business as usual on network TV last week. Among the five specials broadcast last week, only CBS’ “Country Music Celebration” made it to the Top 40. And, for those on the Saturday-night “Dolly” watch--ABC’s megabuck mistake (55th place for the week) pulled an 11.6 rating and a 20 share.

Weekly network averages: NBC, 16.3 rating/26 share; CBS, 15.0/24; ABC, 12.3/20. Evening news ratings: CBS 12.5, ABC 11.3, NBC 11.4. (One Nielsen point equals 886,000 homes; “share” refers to the percentage of households watching a particular program.) The complete Nielsens appear on Page 11.

* CBS’ effort to bring back “The Law and Harry McGraw” from TV oblivion doesn’t seem to be paying off. In the last two weeks, the show has finished, respectively, 67th and 68th in the ratings race, beating out this week, for example, only NBC’s “Storyteller” and ABC’s “Sledge Hammer” and “The Charmings.”
