Abie Grossfeld, who competed in two Olympics and coached in four others, was named coach of the 1988 U.S. Olympic men’s gymnastic team.
Grossfeld, 53, the men’s gymnastics coach at Southern Connecticut State, competed in the Olympics in 1956 and 1960.
