Culver City : Lions Club Honors 2

The Culver City Lions Club presented its 1987 Community Service Awards to optometrist William E. Vickrey and Eagle Scout Michael S. Schipper at a lunch last week in their honor.

Vickrey, who has a private practice in Culver City, was honored for his work with the Culver City Rotary Club and the Rotary Plaza.

Schipper, 17, received the Community Service Youth Award for an Eagle Scout project that started a fingerprint identification-card program for Culver City children.
