Bush and Rather Squabble on the Evening News

Well, I thought it was rather nice of Bush not to also mention the time back in December, 1980, when Dashing Dan complained about being kidnaped by a Chicago cab driver.
As Walter Cronkite used to say: “And that’s the way it is.”
Sometimes we wish it weren’t.
