Girl, 3, Paraplegic Among Fire Victims in Indiana

PERU, Ind. —
Fire destroyed a home Friday, killing four family members, including a 3-year-old girl and a paraplegic teen-ager, and seriously injuring two others who re-entered the home in a rescue attempt.
The house was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived, Assistant Fire Chief Bill Click said. All four victims were found within 10 feet of the front door, Click said. The cause of the blaze had not been determined.
