Georgia Killer of Six Again Sentenced to Die

PERRY, Ga. —
Carl Isaacs, 34, convicted of killing six members of a farm family nearly 15 years ago, was sentenced again Saturday to die in the electric chair.
Isaacs was first sentenced for the murders in 1974, but an appeals court ruled two years ago that publicity had kept him from getting a fair trial in Seminole County, where the victims lived, and it ordered a retrial elsewhere. The Georgia Supreme Court will automatically review the case.
