The irrepressible Rudolf Nureyev is bringing the Paris Opera Ballet to Orange County, New York and Washington this summer. The company will appear at the Orange County Performing Arts Center June 14-19, then later at the Metropolitan Opera House and Wolf Trap Performing Arts Park near Washington. Among the works in the repertoire: “Swan Lake,” “The Nutcracker” and “The Martyrdom of Saint Sebastien” by Robert Wilson, plus American premieres of ballets by William Forsythe--formerly of the Joffrey Ballet and now director of the Frankfurt Ballet--and by Maguy Marin.
