Cushman Electronics of Newport Beach, a manufacturer of radio test and maintenance equipment, reported fiscal 1988 first-quarter earnings of $92,000 for the period ended Dec. 31, compared to the year earlier $36,000. The profits included a $60,000 gain on a sale of fixed assets. Sales dropped 37% for the quarter, to $1.2 million from $1.9 million.
