Will Recent Dodger Action Bring Raines in 1989?

Share

I’m absolutely thrilled that the Dodgers finally used some common sense and signed free agents Kirk Gibson and Mike Davis. And even though they were unsuccessful, I’m happy that they at least tried to sign Gary Gaetti and Dave Righetti. It showed me that they are sincerely trying to put together the best possible team.

Maybe a year from now, after a judge rules the 1986 crop of free agents to be eligible again due to the owners’ collusion, the Dodgers could redeem themselves and finally sign Tim Raines. It’s just a nice thought.
