Construction should start this summer on the first phase of the $80-million, 30-acre Crossroads Regional Commercentre, with completion scheduled for Jan. 30, 1989, according to a spokeswoman for the Laguna Hills-based developers, Community National Corp. and Homes by Polygon.

The first phase of the Colton project will consist of 107,000 square feet of office space, an underground flood control drain and widening of Fairway Drive. Crossroads is being constructed in the northwest quadrant of the intersection of the San Bernardino (10) Freeway and Interstate 215.

“Crossroads Regional Commercentre will be the third generation business park on the I-10 freeway corridor, incorporating 1990s technology in data transmission, building design and efficiency and life safety features,” according to Russ Hatle, president of Community National Corp.
