Four members of a polygamist clan, including two previously accused of bombing a Mormon chapel, were named in a new indictment stemming from the bombing and the 13-day standoff that followed. The indictment names Vickie Singer, her son-in-law, Addam Swapp, Swapp’s brother, Jonathan, and Singer’s son, John Timothy Singer, but excludes Addam Swapp’s two wives who were charged earlier in a federal complaint. The indictment, by a federal grand jury in Salt Lake City, supersedes the earlier complaint as well as an indictment that charged Singer and Swapp with federal offenses related to the Jan. 16 bombing and the subsequent siege.
