Anti-Contra March Bombed
From Reuters
MANAGUA, Nicaragua —
A bomb thrown into a crowd of onlookers blew up during an anti-Contra protest march in northern Nicaragua, killing six people and wounding 13, the Defense Ministry said Monday.
The Saturday explosion occurred in Wiwili, 125 miles north of the capital.
The bomb was thrown into a crowd of several hundred by what the ministry called a counterrevolutionary, who the government believes had infiltrated the march, held to protest a recent ambush by Nicaraguan rebels.
