Fluor Daniel, a unit of Irvine-based Fluor Corp., has been awarded a $50-million contract by the bio-products division of Eastman Kodak for construction management of a new manufacturing plant in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Construction is scheduled to begin later this year, with completion scheduled in 1990. The plant will make such biochemicals as food additives and industrial enzymes. Fluor Daniel is the engineering, construction and technical services unit of Fluor, an engineering and construction company with investments in coal and lead.
