Soviet and Chinese experts have completed 10 days of talks on the possibility of conducting joint aerial photography above the contested eastern part of their border, Tass news agency said on Wednesday.

After a round of border talks in Beijing last year, Soviet officials said the two sides agreed on plans for retracing their common eastern frontier, which runs along the Amur River and its tributary, the Ussuri. Soviet and Chinese troops clashed along the border in 1969.
