Nicaraguan Transport Copter Crashes, Killing 7

MANAGUA, Nicaragua —
A government helicopter crashed, killing all seven people on board, after suffering unspecified “technical failures,” the Defense Ministry said Monday.
The Soviet-supplied transport helicopter was carrying money to the interior of the country on Sunday when it went down about 90 miles east of Managua in Chontales province.
