Allegis Corp. disclosed in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that it is involved in negotiations that could lead to the sale of 35% of its Covia subsidiary, which operates the Apollo computer reservations system, for about $350 million. Allegis, which also owns United Airlines, had announced previously that it intended to sell part of Covia. It said the talks are being held with British Airways, KLM, Swissair and Alitalia. It also said it may sell an additional 15% of Covia, either to the buyer of the 35% stake or to someone else. The asking price for the 15% was not disclosed.
