California Commercial Bankshares, the holding company for National Bank of Southern California in Santa Ana, posted record net income of $1.2 million for 1987, a 13.2% increase over $1.06 million earned the previous year. Total operating income rose 8.1% to $14.6 million last year from $13.5 million the previous year. For the fourth quarter, the company reported net income of $462,263, a 39.4% increase over $331,676 earned the final quarter of 1986. Quarterly revenue rose 5.3% to $4 million in 1987 from $3.8 million in the previous year’s fourth quarter. The company’s average total assets grew 5.4% to $137.2 million at the end of the year from $130.2 million a year earlier. Total deposits at the bank increased 4.2% to $123.2 million at the end of December from $118.25 million a year earlier, and the bank’s loan portfolio grew 4.2% to $89.9 million from $86.3 million.
