Focusing on Candidate Pat Robertson

Regarding the Robertson editorial, I agree with your summary of his campaign, but in no way with the last paragraph in which you state, “There is not any impelling evidence that the United States is significantly more infected with moral decay now than at any other time in American history.” In that same issue--your paper is full of gang murders, Atty. Gen. Edwin Meese’s apparent knowledge of apparent illegal actions by his friends, murders, AIDS, drug arrests, drug tests, arson, porno in Los Angeles firehouses, sex harassment, rape and more.

And you state, we are not having “moral decay.”
