Attacks by Salvador Rebels Leave 15 Dead

SAN SALVADOR —
Leftist rebels attacked one town and occupied three others Friday in northern Chalatenango province during heavy fighting that killed at least six soldiers and nine rebels, officials said.
The rebels recently launched a campaign to disrupt March 20 National Assembly elections.
