Tree Top Inc. announced a record jump in sales and said it plans to test the fresh apple market in Spokane and San Francisco next month. The Selah, Wash., firm, which is the world’s largest apple juice maker, reported $104 million in sales in the first six months, a jump of $10 million. In addition, the company said it increased “private label” business, in which apple juice is bottled for supermarket chains and other customers. It also reported higher sales to membership-style retailers that sell in bulk.
