Out go the Olympics and in comes the Open. While ABC covers the final hours of Calgary’s Winter Olympics, CBS will carry this weekend’s Los Angeles Open golf tournament.

Today the Olympics can be seen from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Alpine skiing, bobsled, hockey) and 7 to 11 p.m. (women’s figure skating final) on Channels 7, 3, 10 and 42.

On Sunday those stations will televise the Olympic hockey, bobsled and speed skating events from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Then, in a change from TV Times listings, the next three hours will be filled on Channel 7 with the 1979 Woody Allen comedy, “Manhattan” (4-6 p.m.), and a local newscast (6-7 p.m.).

From 7 to 11 p.m. Sunday, ABC will cover a figure skating exhibition, a medal-round hockey game and the Winter Olympics’ closing ceremony.

On CBS, Pat Summerall and Ken Venturi, among others, will call the final rounds of the Los Angeles Open from the Riviera Country Club today at 1 p.m. and Sunday at 1:30 p.m. (2)(8).

In basketball, today’s action includes DePaul vs. Miami at 1 p.m. (4)(36)(39), Nevada-Las Vegas vs. Fresno State at 1 p.m. (56)(63) and UCLA vs. Washington State at 3 p.m. (2).

Sunday’s basketball schedule brings the Boston Celtics vs. Detroit Pistons at 9 a.m. (2)(8), and USC vs. Washington at 3 p.m. (2).
