I, for one, was delighted to see Jimmy Swaggart sobbing and begging forgiveness on TV. The man can cry on cue almost better than Bette Davis. I always felt he got some kind of kinky pleasure out of using his Bible to bludgeon anything he would relishingly call “per-ver-zhun.” He really deserved to have his plug pulled.
