“Poor Little Rich Girl.” Playhouse. $19.98. Shirley Temple fans, click up your heels. In one big, simultaneous release, Playhouse Video is making seven of the little charmer’s films available on tape for the first time-- and re-releasing three others. The latter include two of her most famous films, “Heidi” and “Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm.” And though “Captain January” and the John Ford-directed “Wee Willie Winkie” are still missing from video shelves, such relatively little-seen films as “Dimples” and “Little Miss Broadway” are among the new releases. The gem of the fresh batch, however, is “Poor Little Rich Girl,” a thoroughly winning if typically sentimental musical-comedy with sparkling Gordon-Revel tunes and co-stars (Jack Haley, Alice Faye and Bill (Bojangles) Robinson) whose enthusiasm and magnetism almost match Shirley’s. The film ends with what may be the finest of those ‘30s “big radio show” multi-number finishes. The last shot, much like the similar one in “It’s a Wonderful Life,” will tear your heart out.
