Wyle Laboratories said fourth-quarter earnings climbed 34.6% to $1.4 million from the year-ago period. Earnings for the year were up 69% to $5.8 million, as adjusted to account for a 1986 gain of $895,000 from the sale of land. The El Segundo-based distributor of electronic parts and computer systems said the company’s performance was highlighted by record sales and profit achieved by the Scientific Services & Systems Group.
