Trauma Centers
None of us know when our life will be directly affected by the critical lack of trauma centers in Los Angeles. If we need one, the travel time can make the difference between life and death.
The full impact of this became startingly real to me on Feb. 21 when my brother’s car was involved in a very serious accident resulting in a head injury. Because there was a trauma center close to the accident location, he was able to get the immediate, critical attention needed to save his life.
To the motorists who stopped and the neighbors who rushed to the accident at Magnolia/Bluebell and turned his car over, my family and I are deeply grateful and thank you.
