SDI--’Stumbling Around in Space’
Once again, The Times has stamped its little foot and jumped up and down in impotent fury at another successful test of an SDI component.
Having long ago decided that the system cannot possibly work, The Times is enraged whenever scientists or engineers have the effrontery and the temerity to disagree by concrete results.
If The Times had been in charge of the space program, our moon efforts would never have gotten past the Apollo 204 fire (for flying to the moon is a pure fantasy); if you were running the workshops of the Brothers Wright, we would all be flying to London in zeppelins (for man was not meant to fly.)
