George Harrison and Ringo Starr say surviving members of the Beatles are friends again and may soon collaborate on their first new song since an acrimonious break-up almost 20 years ago. The two appeared Saturday on a British TV talk show. Harrison scoffed at reports that he and former co-Beatle Paul McCartney were feuding and said instead that the pair was considering a reunion with Starr to “write a tune and play together.” But there will be no more Beatles. Harrison said: “There’s just three guys called George, Paul and Ringo who may sing a song together.” John Lennon, the fourth member of the Beatles, was shot and killed outside his New York apartment on Dec. 8, 1980. McCartney, speaking through his agent, refused to comment on a possible reunion.
