Child’s Murder in Minnesota

I am concerned about the continued negative picture of adoption that your readers are receiving from various articles in The Times. The latest one on the child abuse and murder of Dennis Jurgens was well written and needed to be printed, yet it was one more horror story involving an adopted child. As the mother of two adopted children, I have run into a good number of people in this city with negative attitudes and wrong perceptions on adoption.

We have a wonderfully stable and happy home as do many other families with adopted children.
