Watson Reports Leasing Strong at Three Centers

Carson-based developer Watson Land Co. reports strong leasing activity at its three business centers in the South Bay.

The company’s Watson Corporate Business Center, at 220th Street and Wilmington Avenue in Carson, is now 90% leased. Pioneer Electronics has taken 60,000 square feet at the project, and data-processing company WTC now occupies 11,000 square feet.

The Watson Business Center, 21720 Wilmington Ave., Carson, is 60% leased. Major tenants are Cormier Leasing Co., with 6,000 square feet of office space, and Engineering Enterprises, with 6,200 square feet.

The Watson Alameda Business Center, at Laurel Park Road and Alameda Street in the Rancho Dominguez portion of unincorporated Los Angeles County, is 50% leased. Major office tenants are Community Dialysis Center, with 5,500 square feet, and Burlington Air Express, with 5,000 square feet.

The company also plans to build another 850,000 square feet of industrial space in Carson, Rancho Dominguez and Rancho Cucamonga this year.
