Weekend to See Summer Rerun

The pleasant, early springlike weather of recent days appears to be building toward a preview of summer this weekend.
Afternoon temperatures ranged from the high 60s to the mid-70s over much of Southern California on Thursday, with Santa Ana and El Toro each registering 80. And forecasters predicted clear skies, even warmer temperatures and gentle winds in most areas for today and Saturday, at least.
“It’s going to be real great weather to be outdoors,” said Dan Bowman of Weatherdata Inc., which provides forecasts for The Times. “It’ll be warmer than normal, with no strong winds.”
Bowman said Sunday should bring more of the same, with slightly cooler temperatures.
“A cold front may move onto the coast of Northern California early next week, with some showers, but it will probably be too weak to affect Southern California, except for gradually cooling temperatures,” he said.
