Nestle S.A., the giant Swiss multinational food group, said it agreed to acquire the commercial and industrial holdings of Italy’s Buitoni food group for $1.2 billion. Nestle said it was buying Buitoni’s operations from Cie Industriali Riunite SpA (CIR), a key holding of Italian financier Carlo De Benedetti.
