Three men and a teen-ager who “thought they had done the right thing” were charged with manslaughter in the beating death of a man who allegedly stole $20 and was chased and beaten by a mob in a drug-ravaged New York neighborhood. Three others were being sought in the death of Raymondo Caraballo, 41, said detective Capt. William Quigley. The killing took place in Spanish Harlem. The suspect entered a bakery shortly after noon Sunday and grabbed $20 from 21-year-old Anna Beteran, witnesses told police. Members of a crowd on the corner gave chase, caught Caraballo and beat him. Housing police broke up the crowd. Caraballo died about five hours later at Mt. Sinai Hospital. An autopsy was scheduled. Quigley identified the four charged with first- and second-degree manslaughter as David Andino, 22, Charles Mimms, 20, Jesus Negron, 23, and Isidore Cuadrado, 14.
