Severe thunderstorms hurled at least two tornadoes at the southern plains, killing a woman in a trailer park in Oklahoma City, while a wintry storm whipped across the Rockies and threatened the central plains with a half-foot or more of snow. Strong winds piled up 10 semi-trailers at a lot in the city and peeled the roof off a nearby building, police said. Authorities reported heavy damage to utility lines and trees near Will Rogers World Airport as well as downed billboards. Four-inch hail struck Midwest City, southeast of Oklahoma City, and a community nearby reported baseball-size hail and wind gusts to 75 m.p.h. A tornado also touched down near Little Rock, Ark. Meanwhile, blizzard conditions in northern Montana produced windchill readings of 15 below to 30 below zero in the area.
