Local News in Brief : Date Set for Runoff Vote
The runoff election to select a Redondo Beach council member from District 3 has been set for May 17.
Steve Colin and William R. Mona will appear on the ballot as candidates to replace Marcia Martin, who resigned six months ago.
No candidate received the required majority of votes in the March 8 municipal election.
The council set the election date at this week’s meeting when it also approved live cable television broadcasting of voting tabulations for city elections.
