1 Killed, 14 Injured in Soviet Derailment

MOSCOW —
One person was killed and 14 were injured, three seriously, when a Soviet train jumped the tracks in the Central Asian republic of Tadzhikistan, the official news agency Tass said on Friday.
Tass said the train from Moscow to Dushanbe was approaching the town of Sherabad, near the Afghan border, on Thursday evening when five cars jumped the rails and one flipped over.
