RB Industries Inc. said it has been informed that entities controlled by Soloman Lew have purchased another 228,200 shares of the Los Angeles company’s common stock from Chase Corporation Ltd., raising his ownership to about 33.9% of the company’s shares. Lew, who is director of RB Industries, has agreed not to buy or sell RB shares unless the company is given advance notice. The firm operates 50 RB furniture showrooms in the western United States.
