Meeting on Land Acquisition Slated

Rolling Hills Estates Planning Commissioner William Ailor will hold a meeting on public acquisition of open space on the Palos Verdes Peninsula Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the Seaview Villas Clubhouse, 37 Seaview Drive South.

Ailor said the meeting will focus on forming a nonprofit land trust to acquire and preserve land.

Ailor, who is holding the meeting as an individual, said his project stems from a concern that undeveloped land on the Peninsula is rapidly disappearing.
