Gasoline prices are creeping upward as summer nears, and experts says that trend will continue. The average price of gasoline in the United States rose more than a penny to 96.14 cents a gallon over the past two weeks, said Trilby Lundberg, an Los Angeles-based oil industry analyst. That is virtually the same price that Americans paid one year ago at this time, said Lundberg.
