Swiss banks and big financial institutions will come under closer supervision in accepting funds from foreign leaders, the Swiss Banking Commission said. The cases of deposed presidents Ferdinand Marcos of the Philippines and Jean-Claude Duvalier of Haiti sparked the need for stronger surveillance, the regulatory agency said in its annual report.
