Decriminalizing the Use of Drugs

Share

Practically everyone I know agrees that the legalization, control and taxing of addictive drugs should be explored.

The criminalization of these drugs is an approach doomed to utter failure not only in this country, but by our incursion into other countries either physically ourselves or in concert with the government of these countries.

I am certain you will receive many diverse opinions on Morse’s article, but as a father of a 35-year-old addict who has been on drugs for 18 years and who has caused problems too numerous to mention, I completely agree with his essay.
