Micro D, Santa Ana, reported that net income for the first quarter totaled $1.7 million, a 16% increase over the $1.4 million posted a year ago. Net sales increased 42% to $116 million from $81.8 million in the first quarter of 1987. Micro D is a distributor of microcomputer hardware, software, peripherals and accessories.
