Ford Motor Co. will eliminate its two-seat Escort EXP model late this summer, making way for increased production of two- and four-door cars, the company said. Ford recalled 50 workers who had been indefinitely laid off from the Wayne assembly plant. The elimination of the EXP will allow increased production of the Escort, the Escort wagon and the Escort GT.
