About a dozen members of a group supporting the use of animals in medical research protested Sunday outside the Pasadena offices of SUPPRESS, an organization that vigorously opposes the practice.
“They are one of the more extreme anti-vivisectionist organizations and they’re out to stop all animal research . . . ,” said Steve Carroll, director of the group, Incurably Ill for Animal Research.
