Fullerton : Communications Week to Be Held at Cal State
Dwight Ellis, vice president of minority services for the National Assn. of Broadcasters, will be among the featured speakers at Cal State Fullerton’s 10th annual Communications Week, which begins today.
Other speakers include Craig MacDonald, media relations director for Pacific Bell. MacDonald is currently serving as an adviser to the 1990 World Cup soccer games in Rome.
Communications Week events focus on journalism, advertising and public relations careers. “National and local communications professionals, educators and students convene to share their knowledge, experiences and insights during the weeklong event,” said a spokesman for this year’s Communications Week.
Ellis will speak at the 9 a.m. Wednesday session, and MacDonald’s address is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Thursday. Both sessions, which are free and open to the public, will be at the University Center building on campus.
