PDA Engineering said its earnings increased to $439,000 for the third quarter of fiscal 1988, contrasted with $167,000 reported a year ago. Revenues for the quarter ended March 31, 1988, rose 15%, to $6.3 million from $5.5 million in the previous-year quarter. For the nine-month period, the company posted net earnings of $995,000, 23% higher than the $810,000 reported a year earlier. Revenues rose to $17.5 million, an 8% increase from fiscal 1987 nine-month revenues of $16.2 million. PDA Engineering, with headquarters in Costa Mesa, designs, develops and markets mechanical engineering software and provides advanced technology products and specialized engineering services.
