Nicaragua rejected Honduran charges that Sandinista troops attacked four Honduran villages in border incursions earlier this month. A spokeswoman for the Nicaraguan military said its troops were abiding by a 60-day truce plan signed with the U.S.-backed Contras on March 23. “We have had no operations in the border area and much less in Honduran territory,” Maj. Rosa Pasos said. The Honduran said it sent a formal note to Managua protesting what it said were Sandinista attacks on Honduran villages between April 13 and 22. The Honduran army said earlier that the Sandinistas had destroyed one of the towns--Suju, 280 miles northeast of Tegucigalpa.
