If not always and forever, Randy Travis is Nashville Network viewers’ favorite entertainer this year. In the network’s first Viewers Choice Awards on Tuesday night, the country star won in all five categories for which he was nominated, including favorite entertainer. Travis’ “Always & Forever” was named best album in the first presentation during the 90-minute show, televised live from the Grand Ole Opry before an audience of about 4,400. A single from that album, “Forever and Ever, Amen,” written by Don Schlitz and Paul Overstreet, was named favorite song and favorite video. Besides being voted favorite entertainer, Travis was named favorite male vocalist.
